Our superstar designers, Yael Mer and Shay Alkalay, are the creative force behind the London-based Design and Research Practice Raw Edges. The studio, founded in 2007, has collaborated with iconic brands, including Louis Vuitton, Vitra, Stella McCartney, Kvadrat, and Airbnb.

Transforming everyday experiences

Raw Edges specialises in transforming everyday experiences into imaginative, emotionally resonant designs across products, furniture, interiors, and installations. Their diverse work, from industrial production to experimental projects, has earned a string of awards, including A&W Magazine 2020 Designers of the Year, Design Miami/Basel Designers of the Future, Wallpaper Design Award winners, and Elle-Deco EDIDA Award. Their work is part of international museum collections, including MoMA in New York and the Vitra Design Museum.
